On August 19, two buddies and I met up at Little Gunpowder Trail in Gunpowder Falls State Park for some mountain bike trail riding. It was my first time there, but one of my friends lives nearby and bikes these trails a lot. He lead us at a speedy pace through the woods, which ended up being about 9 miles of mosty flat, challenging twists, turns and a few hills along the Little Gunpowder Falls River. This is a popular trail full of hikers and bikers, so courtesy and good trail etiquette are in order here for a fun ride. There are plenty of places for a post-ride lunch after your ride. We went to Das Bierhalle for a bite afterwards.
