Today, Tucker and I took a hike on the Box Turtle trail at Bacon Ridge Natural Area in Anne Arundel County Maryland.
Along the way, there was a self guided history tour. This is the PDF for the tour:

From the county website:
Bacon Ridge Natural Area in the South River Greenway contains over 1,100 acres of mature forest and wetland, including 630 acres of permanently protected land through a conservation easement between Anne Arundel County, Maryland Environmental Trust, and Scenic Rivers Land Trust.
Over 20 miles of natural surface trails have been constructed in partnership with the Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts (MORE), a non-profit organization, and mountain biking and trail-building advocacy club. These multiuse trails are open to hikers, mountain bikers, and pets on leashes. Accessible from the Severn Chapel Parking Area is a mountain bike skills park.
